29th March 2025 | Oxwich Bay Hotel, Swansea
On a wild and wonderful spring day in March, Bec and Loz tied the knot at the stunning Oxwich Bay Hotel in Swansea, surrounded by sea views, wildflowers, and all their favourite people.
These two were a photographer’s dream—chilled out, madly in love, and completely themselves all day long. Their wedding wasn’t fussy or formal; it was relaxed, joy-filled, and full of those genuine little moments that make me fall in love with this job again and again.
The day kicked off in the Chestnut Room, a light-filled space perfect for their laid-back vibe. Bec walked down the aisle with her dad (who couldn’t hold back the tears as they reached Loz 😭), just before their flower boys danced in to You Make My Dreams Come True. Iconic behaviour, honestly.
It was a ceremony full of giggles, soft smiles, and so much love. Exactly how it should be.
Instead of traditional confetti, Bec and Loz made their own using dried leaves and heart-shaped hole punches (10/10 DIY effort). Cue Loz blowing leaves off his face in every direction while I snapped away. These are some of my favourite candids from the whole day!
After the ceremony, we made a quick dash to the beach before the rain rolled in. It was windy, but that actually worked in our favour—Bec’s long veil caught the sea breeze like a dream. They shared a quiet, romantic moment together on the sand, barefoot and beaming. One of those quiet, golden moments I feel so lucky to witness.
Back at the hotel, kids ran around in fancy dress, the lawn games were in full swing, and The Siglo Six brought the party with live music and wedding bangers. Bec and Loz aren’t big dancers, but the guests definitely made up for it. Shoutout to the bridesmaid who held my hand for a good 15 minutes and introduced me to her parents like I was her new best friend.
These two are proof that you don’t need a theme or a massive fuss to have a magical, meaningful wedding. You just need each other.
The night finished with a spark(l) – literally. It was raining, but that didn’t stop us! We squeezed what felt like 100 people under the canopy attached to the marquee, sparklers in hand. It was chaotic, a little damp, and totally brilliant. The kind of sparkler send-off that feels more like a warm hug than a big exit.
“We’re a couple who are quite awkward in photos but Becca has changed that with her lovely, warm, genuine, calming nature and her awesome photography skills... We love the photos so much! We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our special day.”
